Marble Bell Tower
Located south of the Carbonate Creek Bridge.
It was dedicated in May 1912. It stood near Carbonate Creek and was a prominent landmark in many old photographs of Marble. The Bell Tower was a useful communication for the Firemen.
They rang the bell in different signals, depending on what part of town was on fire.
The mud of 1941, and many years of wind, snow, and sun deteriorated it until it collapsed in 1977.
The Marble Historical Society with many volunteers gathered the money and materials to rebuild this important structure. It was dedicated in July, 2010.
Today, it stands 65 feet tall with a 1,000 pound bell in it.
